Food Journal

Worrying about putting on some extra pounds this holiday season? How about trying a FOOD JOURNAL to keep you in check! Remember whatever goes in your mouth must be written down! You really think twice about putting something in your mouth!

Here are some other tips that might get you to "think" about your food choices!

1. Keep it in a spot that others will be able to see it! I like to keep mine on the fridge! That way I look at it when I open up the fridge! It helps me to make better food choices!

2. Write down your goal at the top of the page! This can be either a weight goal, a caloric intake goal, or and exercise goal! This way you know what you are striving for or trying to maintain!

3. Don't forget to add exercise! This way it will help you stay motivated to keep moving too!

You can do something as simple as a excel spreadsheet, like this:

Date What is was ~How many calories
Breakfast
Snack
Lunch
Snack
Dinner

Exercise What and how long



Don't forget that it is ok to treat yourself! Just don't do it everyday, all day long!
