Getting started

For most people getting started to exercise is the hardest part. There is never a better time than to start today. Maybe even right now!! Tell yourself to go for a walk, eat a healthier meal, pass up the late night snack, or even just turn off the television. It's so simple to make one small step to get living a better life one day at a time! So don't wait for the dreaded "Monday" to roll around again! Find a friend, a spouse or a neighbor and get moving.

One thing that helps me is to report to someone. That person is my husband. We usually discuss when and what we are going to do for our exercise that day. Not because we are crazy competitive with each other but we need each other to get it done. (having 3 kids 4 years old and under makes it hard to get it done the way you intended it to!!)

So find someone that cares for you and report to them about your success in eating healthy and getting active! Maybe it will help you too!!
